Standard Raising Wire	RapidRaise®

The patented RapidRaise® wire consists of standard raising wire that is postproduction treated to give a hard rough surface on each individual wire greatly enhancing the raising power. The treatment consists of specially blended metals that are bonded to the surface of the wire and can be situated on either the top side of the wire or bottom side depending on the desired application. Normally, bottom applications apply to counterpile rollers while topside applications apply to pile rollers. RapidRaise® may also be used in conjunction with standard wires. The RapidRaise® treatment may be applied to ANY specification of wire. Typical applications include:

RapidRaise® is an extremely efficient wire and can usually reduce passes, increase line speeds and improve finishes at significantly less energy settings on the raising machine. Other benefits include the elimination of the need for point conditioning as well as the need for regrinding. In fact, RapidRaise® will never require regrinding. The common problem of side-to-side variation due to uneven wear of standard wires is also eliminated
